This morning we welcomed the last week of school and the impending onset of summer break with . . . snow.
In protest, we created a variation of a children's song:
- Snow is falling on the slide,
on the swingset, on the ball.
Snow is falling on the deck,
in the garden—
Oh my heck!
Did you loose any tree branches? Our lilacs look profoundly unhappy and some aspens may not straighten back out, but ok otherwise.
ReplyDeleteChristine valiantly braved the winter weather and knocked snow off branches to save the trees. It appears that they have all survived, though I've seen plenty of down branches around town.
